Karlmer is an alternative rock band formed in Byron Bay, Australia in 2025 byfrontman Tim Degen, now based between Speyer and Berlin, Germany withJasmin Azarfar (bass), Roman Fischer (drums), and Lukas Büttner (lead guitar).

After just weeks of rehearsals, they played a sold-out debut show (80 capacity). Within only six months, they got booked for ‘Das Fest’ inKarlsruhe 2026, Unifest 2026 in Karlsruhe, performed at HaDiKo StudentFestival, sold out Tollhaus (300 cap), a 180-capacity self organised Headline show  in an old church in Speyer, they landed a radio interview on Die Neue Welle with airplay. 

The Band started 2026 off well with an almost sold out show in Karlsruhe, a packed surprise Pub show in their Hometown Speyer and a sold out show in Berlin (60 cap), another sold out show in Speyer (100 cap) to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. Their spring and summer 2026  is well booked with more than 10 shows at festivals and their own headline shows.

Their sound reminiscent of that 90's and early 2000's Alt Rock with that modern touch of surf rock, punk and dirt. The Group also had a good growth within that year on Spotify and other streaming and social media platforms and are currently building a fun community around them that they love.
