Karlmer is an alternative rock band formed in Byron Bay, Australia in 2025 by frontman Tim Degen, now based between Speyer and Berlin, Germany with Jasmin Azarfar (bass), Roman Fischer (drums), and Lukas Büttner (lead guitar).

After just weeks of rehearsals, they played a sold-out debut show (80 capacity) on May 2, 2025. Within only six months, they became finalists at the New Bands Festival Karlsruhe, performed at HaDiKo Student Festival, sold out Tollhaus (300 cap) and a 180-capacity church show in Speyer, they are going to support the Paceshifters (NL), and landed a radio interview on Die Neue Welle.

Their sound, reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys, Foals, and The 1975, blends raw energy, catchy hooks, and atmospheric rock.
